Asperger’s syndrome (Asperger’s) is one of the forms of ASD. Children with Asperger’s typically start speaking on time or even earlier than normal. Unlike children with autistic disorder, those with Asperger’s have normal language function, although they may have trouble with nonverbal communication. Many have difficulty making eye contact and understanding what facial expressions mean.
